Olaeta
Olaeta gets its name from the ancient iron-works which existed in the area. The village has the only parish church in Alava with a continuous atrium in its porch: Nuestra Señora de la Concepción.
But the real pride and joy of the villagers is the large cross known as Cruz de la Plaza. This richly ornamented 18th century cross stands on the parapet of the bridge across the river.
