Recreation areas, sailing clubs, bike trail

Various leisure amenities and recreational services have grown up around the reservoir.

Sailing clubs: Club Naútico de Aldayeta (Arroiabe) and Club Naútico de Vitoria-Gasteiz (Ullibarri-Ganboa). Both have their own boats and offer courses and outings.

Local leisure areas: the artificial beach at the Landa park can be accessed from the village of Landa. It has gardens with picnic tables, hearths for barbecues, a bar, etc. Its main attraction is the stretch of artificial beach, where swimming is permitted.

Zuaza island: just opposite the islet known as "Isla de los Conejos", this is a purpose-built summer camp for school-children. Apart from the hostel itself it has a recreation area, bathing area and jetty.
